In March 2025, several colleagues boarded planes to visit our suppliers abroad.
There was a trip to Kenya, followed by a journey to Costa Rica and Honduras. The main purpose of these visits was to maintain our strong relationships in both countries and to monitor the quality of our product lines and produce. Read on to learn more about this successful trip!

Costa Rica – Suppliers

Costa Rica has been an important source of our pineapples for many years. We work closely with several suppliers there and visit them regularly to ensure quality and strengthen our cooperation.
During our recent trip, we followed the entire process: from cultivation in the field to the moment the pineapples were ready for transport to Kraaijeveld. We assessed the quality of the fruit, observed the harvesting process, and monitored the steps in the packing house – washing, sorting, packing, and loading.

These visits not only ensure that we continue to receive top-quality products, but also allow us to build strong, long-term relationships with our partners. Together, we deliver quality – from source to customer.

Honduras – Suppliers

Our journey also took us to Honduras, a key country of origin for our premium melons. There, we visited our supplier and gained unique insight into the entire process – from seed to perfectly ripened melon, ready for harvest.

We witnessed the harvest and followed the next steps in the packing house: washing, packing, and preparing the melons for transport. As in Costa Rica, the focus was not only on strengthening our relationships, but also on ensuring the highest quality for our customers.
By being directly involved in every stage of the process, we guarantee that only the best melons reach our customers.
